standard chess board

played with 2 chess pieces

commences with each piece being placed on the middle first square of that side

the object of the game is to move to the centre of the board and return to the starting side

once the game has commenced the players must meet and return to the starting side to avoid dying

starting points are 10 points

one point is lost for a sideways move

two points are lost for a forward move

meeting in the centre of the board results in a 15 point recharge

death occurs if the points total falls to zero


variations:
	zones due to starting points/recharge figures: celebacy (the game does not commence as it is impossible to complete without dying),
		general, promiscuous (simple game due to excess points), etc ...



cross-cultural high/low chess

	stardard chess board with full pieces

	side A - at each turn, the player may move two pieces, but only a maximum of four squares
	side B - a single piece may be moved, the full length of the board

vary the number of squares for side A to move the advantage from one team to the
